When Golden Hour Lasts a Little Longer
Evenings in Provence, and the art of watching the light leave.
In late summer the sun takes its time. The fields turn amber, the stone walls glow, and the whole valley seems to slow down with it.
The best seat at Avenelle
Our favourite place to watch it is the western terrace, with a glass of rosé from the neighbouring domaine and nothing else planned until dinner.
Golden hour is not an event here. It is simply part of the day, and it is given the time it deserves.
